Mods can make any game completely different, to give you a whole new experience. Unfortunately, modding games is something reserved almost exclusively for PC gamers, because consoles don't offer the same level of freedom as computers. The application gives you free access to countless save files and it places a few simple cheats at your disposal, to give you an edge in your games.

Modio is distributed free of charge, but you can enjoy more features as a VIP user. Installing the application can be done in under a minute, without going through any confusing options. It is compatible with all popular Windows versions and its hardware requirements are modest.

The user interface resembles a web browser. A news feed is presented on its home page, on which you can also access a series of options for downloading and managing game saves. If you decide to download save files, you can choose to browse through featured saves, new ones, popular, top or other categories. It is also possible to manually search for save files or saves for a certain game. Saves are displayed as tiles, with covers of their corresponding games. When you select a game save, the application will display the author's description, along with other details, as well as options for viewing reviews, rating the save and downloading the file.

When a download is complete, you can open the save's parent folder, view more save files for that particular game, edit the contents of the package and more. Another useful feature is the possibility of modifying game saves. Modio allows you to browse through a long list of games that can be modded and modify your saves with only a few clicks. All you have to do is select your game and choose what modifications you wish to make. Depending on the game itself, the application will present different options, for increasing your health, money, experience and so on.
